The first half of my career was spent with creative teams executing, leading and managing memorable national campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the country.
Then I took the sum total of all the practiced storytelling (insight mining, consumer behaviour, communication strategies) across industry categories and merged it with my natural inclinations towards problem solving, technology and digital transformation.
A good story is the ultimate growth hack. Whether you’re a born digital company or a legacy business looking to digitally transform, the impact of a good story cannot be overstated.
I’m a right brained strategist, building engaging, effective stories around business models, customer experiences & people / culture. I believe real world insights, hard working data and really good technology can digitise, transform and scale any brand / business.
From first digital steps & monetising engagements to change management & amplifying the brand story across the customer lifecycle; I bring courage, logic & (sometimes) magic to the thought leadership teams already operating in the digital economy or looking to digitally transform a legacy business.
I’m extremely excited about emerging technologies like AI & IOT and can’t wait to see their social impact as well as how new businesses and economies will emerge. These are the stories of the future, I prepare for today.

As part of the leadership team, I’m a stakeholder in all decisions and operations of the company. From product & technology development to growth strategies & people management, my mandate stretches across the breadth and depth of the business. Partnering with creators & investors to build new digital products, designing the branding & go to market strategies for these products and seeing them through the entire customer lifecycle; I simplify, humanise and narrate the technology, value premise
and story of every product, service and enterprise solution. Built a system and process at Favcy that delivers business modelling, brand environment and evaluated traction channels to reach, monetise and scale the digital dollar creation. The process integrates a ready to activate technology brand within a ready for market digital product with a detailed roadmap to scale. I am also directly responsible for the Brand, Design, Marketing & Communication functions for Favcy across business verticals and alliances.
With a cumulative subscription base of close to 1.2 Million prints daily, the Hind Samachar Group is a powerhouse in ink and paper journalism. Partnering with executive directors and the board, I strategised, advised and helped with tactical deployment of a two pronged change process within the business ecosystem.
1) Digitising existing assets and creating new revenue streams with digital ad space, digital products and premium subscriptions. The aim was aggressive product
strategies and rapid user acquisition; a base which has grown exponentially approaching 30 Million acquired users across digital assets, generating more than 100,00,000 (100M) page views per month. (apps, products, social media & alliances)
2) Introduced new technologies like Cloud Reporting, Mobile Drone Units, Connected Journalism, Internet TV & Radio in the business model to transform and scale the user and news base. Digital reporting & content today underpin the content strategy across print editions. User acquisitions and ad sales for the group in print continue to
grow even today, defying industry trends. With customised, geotagged content, the group brands acquire and engage users from across the globe.
This digital transformation is setting the stage for a regional print brand, albeit a big one, to become a thought leader’s voice for the Hindi & Punjabi languages at a global stage.
Led and managed all franchise brand teams for IPL 2018. With touchpoint and assets spread across broadcast, digital & on ground, the KRA was to acquire and engage fans irrespective of the on field performance and monetise engagements & merchandise. Despite 2018 being a disappointing season, led exponential growth across DD Digital Assets ( Instagram 49.76%, Twitter 21.26%, Facebook 6.51%, Website 638,977 unique views and 310,915 new users acquired) that is now home to 6.8 Million DD Fans. Created a new pub activation asset for the franchise which engaged fans across multiple pubs and watering holes in Delhi NCR throughout the season. These pubs were Branded as a DD Den and amplified the digital engagement initiatives. A reimagined “Fan Army” was created with an integrated approach that rewards & recognises fans for both their digital engagement and in-stadia engagement. Team D2 houses close to 27,000 organically acquired fans who collectively spent about 6725 hours and participated in 100,000 + engagements for the franchise during the season.
Chakraviyuh is a digital innovation and design advisory I started when advertising could no longer whet my appetite for problem solving. I believed technology is a tool of amplification and not a gimmick. With Chakraviyuh, I have the freedom to work with smaller, braver brands that understand the digital landscape and realise that the size of your story can beat the size of your marketing budget any day. To further enhance my learning curve, Chakraviyuh operated with a registered office and business operations in London, United Kingdom from 2013 to 2016. I advised and consulted on a diverse set of projects across continents. Small businesses and non profits in UK, Startups in New York and Florida, heavy industry and agriculture in Georgia, Central Asia to name a few. Closer to home, through Chakraviyuh, I have consulted and delivered projects across FMCG, Co-Working, Angel Investors, Real Estate, Business Consultancy amongst others. continue to work on projects that excite me and empower me to create real value.
